On December 1st took place the presentation event of the Blockchain Arbitration Society, the first virtual crypto jurisdiction, at the ISDE Law & Business School in Barcelona. The event took place in the conversations held between Leopoldo Abadía, Honorary President, Ignacio Ferrer-Bonsoms, President and Jose Luis Sanjurjo, Co-Founder of BAS under the slogan “Shaping the future”.
With more than 150 attendees, the event, with an audience in person and via streaming, was attended by members of the Advisory Council, Arbitration Board and Associates and collaborators who did not miss any moment of attention to the dialogue held between the three on applications, challenges and realities of Blockchain, but especially the disruption that this technology will bring to the way of doing business.
The one-hour conference was presented by Helena Perelló, Director of the Master of esport Business of ISDE and ended with a small networking cocktail.
Thus, BAS makes its official presentation although it has already been active for a few months. In these months, we have already achieved major milestones such as the first arbitration award ruled in the crypto world, of great impact since the decision of the arbitration board does not understand border boundaries as blockchain technology is global.
